My first birth session was amazeballs. Like really, ridiculously amazing. Not only was it my first birth photo-journalistic journey, but it was also the birth of my baby brothers first child. Emotions ran high during the 16+ hour ordeal, lots of labor, lots of time passed, lots of stress, anxiety, and worry. The day ended up with Jackson being born at 6:55pm, only 16 hours after his labor of love started, the entire family celebrated in the waiting room with shots of Jack Daniels for Jackson (that's just how this family celebrates!), and this sweet family came together to welcome their first little Ames!
Birth photography is definitely a service I will be offering from now on, the experience was so amazing! I feel strongly that every couple that is expecting should look into birth photography... and if you happen to be on the fence of whether to partake in birth photos take a peek at this... I wont lie, it'll give you the feels.
