Allie, the Missionary!

Her lord called, and she responded. The fourth missionary to serve in this family, and while she is the last to leave the nest she is most certainly not least. Allie was called to serve the Oklahoma-Arkansas mission and has departed the MTC arriving in her new home just last week. Its unreal to think that Allie will be gone from our daily lives for the next 18 months, but over this time away from home she will surely be doing what she believes in, for herself, her lord, and her church.  I admire this girl for doing something she believes in, and for her heart felt commitment to it. Best of luck on your mission little lady, we love you!!

A&A Engagement Sesh!

A beautiful November day, two people, their puppies, and a gorgeous spot. What a dang good day.

Its often the case where the bride to be mentions that the groom to be doesn't like having his picture taken, and actually, that's a challenge I accept, but I totally got this guy! By the end of our session he was laughing and relaxed, and I felt, really enjoying the time out in the wild, getting some work done, and having a nice walk in a beautiful place with his sweet puppies and his beautiful wife. Photography isn't just someone in your face with a camera, its a connection between you, your spouse, in this case your puppies, and the photographer. Boom! Connected we totally are people!!

I can not wait to partake on their wedding day, capturing their special moments and being able to share something with them that they will hold onto their entire lives. Wedding photography is just that, a gift that gives for generations, and when you look back on your wedding day I want you to remember all the wonderful moments of the day you married your partner in crime. I'm so lucky to be able to share this with my couples, and very I'm thankful to have wonderful clients and friends like these guys:)

This wedding marks my second destination wedding, you hear that? I'm a destination wedding photographer now! Whoop whoop. Please, pretty please, be sure to tell your friends:) Have camera, will travel.

Look at those sweet puppies! Little muffins <3 Can you tell I'm a dog person?

LOVE THIS!!!!!

Family Holiday Sesh with the Landrys

Family sessions are a great way to meet new people, learn a little, and find commonality in someone that was a stranger to you just a mere hour before. The Landrys were a bucket of fun to work with, and I think the photos will show it:)

Now, I'm a big fan of kids, especially when they are at the age where they run around and do stuff because its is interesting to them, and this family has two little girls that stole the show and a little of my heart <3. Such sweet little girls that clearly love their mom and dad dearly:)

This setting was amazing...

Personally, I really really dig sun flare.
YES! Glorious!

 Dancing in the street:)

Oh gosh, this is so dang cute!

 So cute!
I love this, they totally followed me into a large rabbit hole and I got this shot. Amazing!

That bridge, that light, those rays. Holy hector.
Aw, what a sweet moment between daddy and daughter.
So sweet, mama and daughter. And, really? That sunset was such a drama queen, I loved it!

These two, they killed me! So dang cute!

 Good lord, this is priceless!
We did things, found things, and adventured into a sort-of wilderness. It was awesome.

I love wide shots like this, especially when the subjects contrast the background like this.
 That sunset, it was amazing!
