Ohhh, how the time flies...

1 year, 365 days, 8760 hours, 525600 minutes ago. these were shot. This sweet baby was just a few weeks old, and so was this new mother and father. It was a bonding time for this new little family, and now that this sweet baby boy just turned 1 these images take us all back to this day, when he was super "fresh" as his mama would say.

We had just mere moments to capture these, Jack Jack wasn't the happiest little guy ever, he pooed on my bed, and the sun had set. A short and sweet set of images for this sweet little dude.

"Making the decision to have a child - its momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body" Elizabeth Stone

You are in our hearts forever baby Jack-Jack.

Allie, the Missionary!

Her lord called, and she responded. The fourth missionary to serve in this family, and while she is the last to leave the nest she is most certainly not least. Allie was called to serve the Oklahoma-Arkansas mission and has departed the MTC arriving in her new home just last week. Its unreal to think that Allie will be gone from our daily lives for the next 18 months, but over this time away from home she will surely be doing what she believes in, for herself, her lord, and her church.  I admire this girl for doing something she believes in, and for her heart felt commitment to it. Best of luck on your mission little lady, we love you!!

A day with the Saldanas

I'm sure if you have read my blog, looked at my site, or even liked my business page on Facebook you know, i'm absolutely irrevocably in love with black and white photos. Black and white are classic, always in "style", and always gorgeous. Here's a few from a family I shot recently, this sweet little family welcomed home their third baby girl and to remember this special time in their lives I was asked to document it.  Welcome home sweet Remi!!
